About The Game

Zen: A Gay Sequel (or 'ZAGS') is a gay, planner-focused, stat-based, dating sim set in college. It is the sequel to Yearning: A Gay Story ('YAGS' for short), a visual novel about being gay, coming out, and making friends.

If you have not played YAGS, it is recommended you do so before playing ZAGS. However, ZAGS is a self-contained story that can be played without any prior knowledge of the characters or universe.

The demo features:

• A fairly open storyline -- choose how to spend your time
• 50,000+ words
• 3 sexy CGs and 2 bonus images
• 3 optional (and replayable) minigames
• A variety of 'routes' to follow
• An original soundtrack featuring 'Zen', the ZAGS theme

The final game is currently estimated for late 2021. It is slated to feature:

• 200,000+ words
• 16+ CGs and additional bonus images
• Some number of additional minigames
• Three (and a half?) full routes, plus plentiful side stories
• A bunch of unlockable extras, such as development notes and lyric videos

Adult Content Warning

The demo and final game feature content of an adult nature, including explicit gay sex, nudity, alcohol (ab)use, depression, and strong language.

The game's CGs are censored by default, but can be uncensored via an optional (and free) patch. (An uncensored Android build will be available for the full game.)

In addition to the patch, the game features a setting to censor or skip explicit content, for streaming or LP recording purposes.
