The Witcher 3 Gog Patch Download
This mod is only needed for the steam version of the game since the GOG version has yet to be updated. The Witcher 3 content patch1. This patch is NOT necessary to install the Enhanced Edition. Patch 1.35 can be used as a more lightweight (118 MB) alternative to the 11 GB Enhanced Edition (3.0) patch for the owners of retail copies of the release (1.0) version of The Witcher 2, which requires patching to run. Just uninstall the game & download the GOTY installer via GoG downloader. There aren't any new patches for Witcher 3. I could be missing something, but I don't have to download more than 30GB of updates.
This is where you can manually download the 1.01 patch for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt that is needed to launch the game. It includes numerous bug fixes and improvements for your game. You'll have to install it before you can start playing.
I assume the game is registered in your GOG account. If so, download and install the GOG galaxy client. Go to the Witcher 3 page in the client that allows you to download the game, and rather than download it, click More - Manage - Import Folder and then click on Select Folder, browse to your current Witcher 3 install and select that. I purchased the GOG Version for a few reasons. I like the DRM free aspect and I got it for $48 because I had a 20% off coupon due to Ubisoft points (mostly from my son playing Rayman Legends and my playing of Rocksmith 2014. The 27 Gig download was ok, but upon running the installer (file 1 of 7), after TWO HOURS or more it is informing me I still have 16,646 minutes left (THAT IS NOT A TYPO).
